We are looking for an organizational rockstar to own and help drive UX adoption and execution throughout the products including our flagship product Designer, new products, and our digital transformation efforts. As the Design Operations Manager, you will report to the Director of UX and play a critical role in how our teams grow, scale, and operate throughout the organization. Working closely with our multi-disciplined, global function, you will join a team of incredibly talented designers, researchers, and developers to create a Design Thinking machine that works flawlessly in agile environments and is responsible for delivering a delightful experience to our users.

Who You Are:

  • Deep knowledge/understanding of User Experience, Product Design, and Research

  • Excited to understand and help improve the health and happiness of UX teams and individuals (and yourself)

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams like engineering and product to deliver experiences, and products

  • Thrive in managing cross-team projects and execution with product and engineering

  • Passion for scaling centralized teams in dispersed organizations; ie Matrixed Teams and other centralized strategies at scale

  • Appreciate the elegance and strategy behind Design Systems, reusable components libraries, and solving complex delivery challenges

  • Love being part of an amazing UX Team and looking to make an impact in a rapidly growing organization

What You’ll Own:

  • Lead the execution of the UX vision across the organization

  • Develop, implement and manage UX strategic initiatives

  • Lead design processes, designer efficiency, and UX evangelization efforts

  • Scale of the UX teams and organizational strategy to support the greater org

  • Training, efficiency, and operational success of the UX Team

  • Manage design/research tools, organization, and efficiency

  • UX Thought Leader internally and externally

  • Evangelist for UX to Marketing and Brand and other internal counterparts

  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on operations/programs

  • Data, PII Governance & Compliance

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in project/program management or management

  • 5+ years of experience in Design Thinking, Product Design, UX or Design Strategy

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Compensation:

Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Broomfield, CO is $88,400 to $150,300. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus and stock grants.
