We’re looking for a UX Content Strategist.
Our Product and Design group is eager to welcome a customer-obsessed Content Designer to the team. You’ll create product content, collaborate across verticals and manage the content for cross-functional projects, always focusing on UX best practices to ensure our customers have the best online experiences. As part of the team, your focus will be on content clarity, coherence, quality, accessibility and global relevance.
Here's what you'll do:
- Partner closely with Designers, Product Managers and Engineers to understand user and product needs
- Plan content flows that are simple and easy to understand
- Contribute to product content strategy as well as produce and present final UX copy
- Write and edit UI copy to help users navigate our products, including tool tips, notifications, error messaging, calls to action, microcopy and instructional materials
- Assist with persona research
- Write and produce user guides with an eye on conversion opportunities
- Ensure content consistency across the product
- Complete high-quality work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Here's what you’ll bring:
- 3+ years of experience as a UX Writer or similar role in an agency or in-house setting
- Experienced communication skills across marketing, sales and customer support channels
- Ability to craft clear, concise and correct UI content for the in-product experience on hand-held devices, mobile and desktop experiences
- Awareness of customer needs and an ability to write innovative and simplified solutions to customer issues
- Adherence to UX best practices, including a command of grammar and spelling
- Experience creating scalable content
- Skills for developing reusable and scalable patterns for teammates to follow
- Some experience with user research methods, including contextual interviews, surveys, persona creation and usability testing
- Clear ways to communicate content decisions and strategy to those new to the subject
- Experience writing marketing copy or other promotional materials preferred
- A portfolio of relevant UX work samples including problems you helped solved, your contributions and the impact to customers
Cash Compensation:
- The total cash compensation for this role is $80,000-$100,000/year. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience and expertise and may vary from the amount above.
