EMS Software is looking for an experienced Director of Demand Generation. Working in close alignment with Sales and Marketing, the ideal candidate will have experience both building and executing integrated marketing programs, as well as a deep understanding of marketing operations and processes, demand gen, email marketing, ABM and program management and execution.

This role reports directly to the VP of Marketing and is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing team of marketers and take a meaningful role in building that team. This role is central to meeting our pipeline and revenue targets and a key leader on the marketing team. This position will work closely with product marketing, sales, content marketing and product management to develop high quality, impactful marketing strategies to increase pipeline with high quality leads.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop and implement and demand generation strategy from awareness through lead gen to pipeline acceleration and customer cross-selling.
  • Develop, deploy and manage a range of integrated marketing programs (inbound, outbound, customer/prospects nurturing campaigns).
  • Design and deploy an attention getting, personalized Account-Based-Marketing program to engage with high quality prospects at targeted accounts.
  • Collaborate with sales to identify targets for account-based marketing campaigns and leverage both traditional and predictive modeling tools (Mintigo) to build highly targeted, prioritized list for sales.
  • Develop inbound lead gen strategy and campaigns across digital marketing channels (email, PPC, social, display, SEM, SEO, nurturing and retargeting).
  • Work with Content Marketing and Product Marketing to develop content to support lead gen programs.
  • Working from our foundational messaging architecture, develop and produce creative and compelling demand generation copy that connects to our prospects.
  • Collaborate with sales to refine lead scoring model and build SLAs that improve sales efficiencies.
  • Streamline lead management system to ensure a tight measurement between marketing programs, pipeline and closed revenue.
  • Build continuous customer and prospect nurture campaigns to provide aircover and continuous engagement for early stage leads.
  • Develop and present regular performance reporting on key marketing and sales KPIs leveraging SalesForce, Marketo and other marketing platforms/tools and continuously improve overall program effectiveness.
  • Provide overall project management of marketing campaigns/projects. Proactively introduce and manage new innovative campaigns and programs.
  • Manage the demand generation budget.
  • Innovate, test and experiment with new marketing strategies, tools, analytics, lead sources, etc. to build a strong pipeline for sales.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience designing and executing demand gen programs at a B2B technology company
  • First-hand experience working with marketing automation solutions, specifically Marketo
  • Experience working with sales, being a business partner that is accountable to help them achieve their goals.
  • Experience managing search engine marketing (SEM) programs (g., AdWords, AdRoll)
  • Strong analytical skills, especially leveraging Marketo, Google Analytics, and Salesforce
  • Organized and self-motivated quick-study with ability to define goals and prioritize work
  • Comfortable with balance of day-to-day tactics and long-term strategy
  • Bachelor’s degree
