The Vendor Success Analyst (VSA) plays a significant role in growing vendor revenue by supporting the Vendor Success Manager (VSM) team with vendor relationship management, vendor product pipeline, and vendor forecast reporting.  They work with the VSM team to gather and organize data and revenue trends to help promote sales enablement across the floor by effectively aligning sales plays and product marketing efforts. The VSA plays a pivotal role in vendor Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) by maintaining accurate data and ensuring it aligns with our internal Key Business Objectives.  Ultimately, a successful VSA will learn, develop, and grow into a VSM.  

Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):
      • Assists VSM with relationship management of vendors
      • Works with VSMs to support Product Management by: Acting as overlay between vendors and Product/Marketing teams. Working with Sales/Marketing on vendor GTM strategy.
      • Assists in managing reporting of vendors’ QBRs results: Sales forecast vs actuals. Marketing activities and ROI.
      • Helps VSM work with vendors on promotions and partner programs: Work closely with vendor/Pax8 sales on vendor spiffs/promos within Pax8. Bring vendor partner program perks to Pax8 partners. Proactively manage vendor and Pax8 GTM marketing initiatives.
      • Partners with VSM to identify and aggregate partner/customer facing vendor created content (sell guides, autopilot, data sheets, videos, etc.) for Command Console
      • Participates with VSM in Mission Briefings and trainings (e.g., explaining how vendors work with Pax8 training, setting up L&L’s/other activities, etc.)
      • Assists VSM in identifying issues and making actionable recommendations to ensure optimum vendor performance across multiple process areas including sales, marketing, support, product, billing
      • Accompanies VSM on vendor on-site visits and provide feedback to vendor on product sales alignment (not limited to negotiations of MDF and promotions)
      • Maintains an accurate org chart and territory map for each vendor
      • Assists in driving sales alignment against vendor’s organizational objectives
      • Helps VSM deliver monthly forecasts for each vendor to the VP of Business Development
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
      • Two (2) years’ experience in Sales, preferably Channel Sales; or data analytics
      • Two (2) years’ demonstrated strategic account management experience
      • One (1) year of work experience at Pax8
      • Ability to successfully share knowledge
      • Technical background with technical learning acumen preferred
      • Proven record of making others successful preferred
      • Strong communication and presentation skills preferred
      • Proficiency with Salesforce preferred
      • Ability to hold self and others accountable to meet commitments
      • Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organization goals
      • Ability to actively learn through experimentation when tackling new problems, using both successes and failures as learnings
      • Ability to anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders
      • Ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions
      • Ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
Required Education & Certifications:
      • B.S./B.A. degree in related field; or equivalent work experience
Compensation:
      • Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $70,000 or more depending on experience

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
