What You Do:

  • Model Alteryx values and Alteryx-defined Stunning Colleague attributes.
  • Be a transformational leader who prioritizes, drives, and measures business goals achievement through organizational development efforts.
  • Work with the Director of Engineering Enablement to create and execute an integrated change strategy for Product Engineering that delivers people readiness for Product Engineering roadmaps and business outcomes.
  • Partner deeply with line Product Engineering leaders up to the C- level. Show up as a member of the technical team by meeting leaders and technical staff where they are and by continually building a strong value proposition as their trusted partner in making sure their team is ready to change and perform.
  • Drive our internal culture shaping efforts through a process of measurement, action planning and change.
  • Lead organizational change efforts for Product Engineering including the incorporation of robust but right-sized approaches using holistic change management that includes communications, coaching, learning, resistance management and other methods as needed. Acting as the glue for these efforts you will engage leadership, a large variety of internal contributors (learning, HR, legal, SME's, etc.) and a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and lead teams to deliver outcomes is essential in this role. • Manage, drive and/or advise organizational effectiveness efforts such as transformational initiatives, learning programs, onboarding, change adoption and others. Employ program management practices in these efforts to plan work, orchestrate progress, manage risks, provide status, etc.
  • Evaluate supporting vendors and aid in overseeing their efforts to ensure performance and value for Alteryx.
  • Build networks of change agents, trainers and supports staff to enable centralized strategy with local presence, effectiveness, and flexibility.
  • Train leaders, and others on their role in transformation and change to enhance their efforts in achieving desired outcomes.
  • Leverage your transformation effectiveness experience to mature our change capability through the operationalization of leading practices, principles, technology, and metrics in transformation and organizational change.
  • Embed as a member of the Product Engineering team and member of the technical tribe.
  • Bring your passion, empathy, and sense of service to help each member of our Product Engineering team uncover and work towards their potential as part of our transformation efforts.


The Experience You Bring:

  • Demonstrated experience driving modern product/software transformation through transformation and change initiatives in a technical environment.
  • 5+ years' experience working with engineers, technologists and / or software developers.
  • Experience with transformational leadership and other modern leadership development approaches.
  • Demonstrated experience applying two or more of the following in organizations: end-to-end learning programs, structured organizational change, culture assessment/change, coaching, design thinking, and other related approaches.
  • Data-driven management including experience cascading and managing through outcomes (OKR's or similar goal approaches). This includes experience with assessment, evaluation and organizational effectiveness efforts using various collection methods (surveys, focus groups, etc.)
  • Exposure to at least 2-3 of the following: product development, software engineering, software platforms, cloud, DevOps, integration engineering and/or systems engineering.
  • Experience with agile, lean and waterfall product and software development lifecycles.


Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Preference will be given to candidates with one or more of the following: Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD), change management certifications (CCMP, Prosci, other), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or other related certifications in change management and program/project management.
  • Ability to link organizational development strategies to business outcomes including demonstrating qualitative and quantitative impact. Translating business outcomes into learning and change objectives.
  • Knowledge or experience in science of change management, related cognitive science, and associated leading practices. •
  • Knowledge or experience in structured change management methodologies.
  • Knowledge or experience in full life-cycle organizational change related to digital transformation and business strategy.
  • Vendor management experience.
  • Previous experience in product management or software engineering roles is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with product and software development principles and lifecycles is preferred.


Compensation:
Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Broomfield is $88,400 - $150,300. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus and stock grants.
