FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Technology Engineer in Denver, CO, to design and develop SQL and BI Functionality consumed by business units including OLAP cubes and Tabular Models. Support the design and development of the data warehouse through data modeling and ETL development activities. Debug, monitor, and troubleshoot BI solutions including SSIS, SSAS. Apply group-based permissions for databases and cubes. Define, design and implement logical and physical data models. Work closely with DBA's and other teams as needed to ensure BI architecture delivers enterprise-wide needs. Review and monitor production changes from junior level developers to ensure highest quality data standards and lowest production impact. Identify opportunities to optimize performance of existing data structures for reporting and data warehouse design. Navigate, understand, and leverage existing complex data structures for reporting and data warehouse design. Create deployment tickets. Provide data knowledge and guidance of best practices to junior level developers. Interview business users to create and understand requirements. Transform requirements into BI solutions.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation: translating business requirements into technical requirements; working with data warehouse and relational database concepts; working with the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack; utilizing Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) Development, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server Integrations services (SSIS) and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS); performing T-SQL relational and multidimensional database queries; utilizing MDX; building data models for data warehousing projects using data modeling tools including ERWIN, ER Studio and SQL Developer.
