The Omni Professional Services Technical Operations team performs development tasks and provides technical support enabling customer projects involving the FIS Omni suite of applications*.

* The FIS Omni suite includes: Omni Plus, Omni Trade and Reconciliation, Omni Workflow (EXP AG), Omni Payments, Omni Data Validation Web (DVW), and Omni Web Suite (OWS). The primarily application is FIS's Omni Plus (aka Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, Annuity), a retirement plan administration and recordkeeping solution used by financial services companies to set up and administer defined contribution, defined benefit, and annuity plans.

  • You will regularly perform technical analysis and support for client projects involving Omni applications. 

  • You will work closely with project management, business analysts, solution architects, and quality assurance analysts to

  • You will participate in many stages of the software development lifecycle, especially:

    • Reviewing functional requirements, business requirements, or defects to determine the development tasks required

    • Creating and Documenting technical designs to meet development requirements

    • Developing solutions using technologies leveraged by the applications, such as OmniScript, COBOL, Windows Scripting, Unix Scripting, JCL, XML, HTML, etc,

    • Participating in code reviews

    • Providing technical support during testing and post-production deployment phases.

    • You will guide team members participating in the software development

What you bring:

  • Experience and expertise developing solutions for the Omni applications

  • A collaborative spirit, working with a diverse group of subject matter experts both within FIS and with the customer

  • Ability to identify requirement gaps or functional design defects and collaborate with your partners to address them

  • Ability to creatively design and develop solutions to complex problems

  • Ability to clearly document and explain complex technical solutions using functional, non-technical terms.

Added bonus if you have:

  • Functional understanding of multiple applications or technologies within the FIS Omni suite of products

  • Advanced experience using some of the more complicated OmniPlus features, such as Loans, Eligibility, Service, Enrollments, Payroll Processing, Expense Billing, Fees, etc.

  • Expertise integrating Omni application(s) with a customers’ non-Omni enterprise solutions.
