Supplier Information Specialist II
The Supplier Information Specialist II supports various day-to-day tasks for hospital client data cleansing engagements, primarily supporting data quality initiatives to drive accuracy, consistency, and completeness of enriched data through management and maintenance of medical supplier relationships and catalogs.
Principal duties and responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate professional relationships with internal and external subject matter experts to serve as supplier advocate for Content Operations
- Maintenance of transactional data elements
- Acquire, maintain, and load medical supplier catalogs into the Content Operations database
- Works in conjunction with other team members to ensure timely delivery of accurate data
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Excel required, MS Access experience a plus
- Strong customer service & communication skills
- Medical product knowledge and medical terminology
- Supply chain knowledge preferred
- Medical product supplier knowledge helpful
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Information Systems or a healthcare-related discipline
- Minimum 2 years experience in Data Quality Assurance, Data Management, Healthcare purchasing or related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in customer service in a healthcare-related discipline
Estimated hourly compensation $18.00 - $20.00
