POSITION SUMMARY: 

As a statistical analyst in the biostatistics group at ArcherDx, you will engage in analytic modeling, scripting, and/or programming, develop methods for data in various states of organization, cleanliness and structure. You will perform predictive and prescriptive data analyses to build infrastructure and accelerate product innovation, product design, and product development. You will work with cross-functional teams to gather, wrangle, cleanse, structure, and analyze data.

 

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job performance will involve a variety of activities including:

  • Write and implement custom code for data extraction from internal sources and data wrangling/cleansing from external sources.
  • Work closely with biostatisticians to perform recurring and ad-hoc quantitative and descriptive analysis to support regulatory submissions.
  • Write R or python scripts to structure data into the desired format or to clean/parse data.
  • Write R or python scripts to perform descriptive statistical analysis of data to meet reporting needs and identify unexpected observations.
  • Develop custom dashboards and data visualizations to facilitate quality assurance and data quality.
  • Share knowledge with immediate biostatistics team through regular presentations of progress, struggles, and advances.
  • Assist in training scientists on basic R skills.

 

 Experience:

  • At least five years of experience as a statistician or analyst performing data analysis and data cleaning in R. Working knowledge of python. Experience working in a team environment and managing multiple, concurrent project deliverables.

Education:
