Primary Purpose of Position
This role will interact with all levels of the sales team and provide analysis and data structure for the Commercial organization. A key part of this position will be supporting the commercial organization with process optimization, reporting and analytics, and other ad hoc projects as needed
Essential Functions
Responsibilities for Sales Analyst
- Compile and analyze data over time to forecast sales trends
- Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions.
- Review past sales data to determine trends in productivity
- Design and build technical processes to address business issues.
- Prepare accurate reports using data from internal and external sources. Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting employees with comprehensive policies and processes.
- Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership, technology, sales, marketing and product teams.
- Evaluate third-party data to determine best practices for company success
- Present actionable information and insights to team members and management
- Gather and analyze data in order to understand problems and address them proactively
- Collaborate with team members and members of other departments
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Excellent understanding of analytical techniques, statistics, mathematics or a related subject involving math, such as economics or data science.
- Strong knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software
- Up to10% of travel
Compensation & Benefits
- Hiring Salary Range: $68,000 - $101,500 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
- Other Compensation: This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
