The Senior Market Research Analyst role will drive and support projects, programs and assignments that have high impact on the Vendormate products and strategies. Utilizing knowledge and experience, this position evaluates business questions related to the market opportunity, seeks solutions and makes recommendations on complex assignments.
- Will conduct qualitative and quantitative research to ascertain and or validate market needs and trends.
- Will gather competitive intelligence, and prepare competitors' product profiles, company profiles, quarterly and yearly earnings summaries, and Vendormate's positioning around the competition.
- Works in conjunction with Marketing, Product Management, IT and Sales to identify market trends and dynamics.
- Develops strategic research plan, provides maintenance of a research calendar and repository, conducts primary research projects, secondary research collection and analysis, and competitive and environmental analysis.
- Works closely with Marketing, Product and Corporate Strategy to help ensure market research needs are being met, with no redundancy.
- Develops, executes and delivers qualitative and quantitative research projects from research design through analysis and reporting.
- Integrates critical information from many diverse areas and projects, and prepares and presents research findings to senior management and other staff members.
- Gathers research and competitive intelligence, and prepares profiles on competitors and potential acquisition opportunities.
- Provides leadership and project management, ensuring initiatives are delivered on-time and deliver the target
- Analyzes the current business and competitive environment to identify opportunities to drive revenue and profit
- Maintains SWOT analysis, complements industry knowledge, and coordinates efforts with corporate Strategy team.
- Supports business planning process and business case development.
- Maintains Vendormate Market Research Portal.
- Exceptional writing skills required.
- Strong oral communication and presentation skills.
- Good project management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines, set appropriate priorities, exercise sound judgment and coordinate multiple projects.
- Requires high energy, passion and drive. Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Ability to translate complex information and learnings into a coherent, clean and professional format.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, Business, or related field, or a combination of education and related work experience. MBA preferred.
- Minimum 3 – 5 years' Market Research experience.
- Healthcare industry experience preferred.
- Excellent PC skills (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint), preferably with working knowledge of a
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels.
