Sr Market Research Analyst, Customer Insights
Overview:
Alteryx is looking for a passionate, inquisitive, and experienced Senior Research Analyst to lead primary and secondary research studies globally. As a Senior Research Analyst, you will help establish and build out the Customer Insights function and will serve as the primary analyst on a range of quantitative and qualitative research studies. In this role you will have the opportunity to manage end-to-end market research projects, from identifying key areas of opportunity, to the delivery of actionable insights. You will be expected to conduct comprehensive research and analytics resulting in a deeper understanding of our customer experience.
This role requires a professional curiosity and a strong understanding of market research, including the measurement of Customer Satisfaction and NPS. You will be responsible for analyzing perceptions of a b2b audience and providing recommendations on most effective ways to drive change. You will be able to leverage your deep expertise in market research to craft rigorous research plans, synthesize information, lead focused analysis, and influence stakeholders with compelling research reports/presentations. A predisposition to collaborate with cross functional teams, external vendors, and stakeholders is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute quantitative and qualitative research studies utilizing both traditional and innovative methodologies (including but not limited to Questionnaires, Focus Groups, Customer Journey Mapping, Segmentation Studies)
- Identify and implement new research techniques, efficiencies and approaches to improve speed and depth of customer insights
- Curate, manipulate, and synthesize data to draw conclusions and make recommendations resulting in actionable insights; collate information and present findings to direct leader and stakeholders
- Establish strong, collaborative working relationships with external vendors, functional teams and key stakeholders
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years experience in Market Research
- Knowledge of statistics, statistical modeling, statistical software, R, SPSS, or Alteryx
- Experience managing NPS, and Customer Satisfaction research at the transaction or product level
- Experience independently scoping and executing research projects with clients and/or cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience in design and execution of quantitative and qualitative research studies
- Strong project management skills: ability to track to established objectives, manage multiple priorities, and pivot quickly based on immediate needs of the business
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; the ability to foster relationships with all levels of stakeholders and personalities
- Strong critical thinker with pragmatic approach to resolving issues
