The Challenge

As part of the Commercial Go-to-Market team, the Sr. Manager of Commercial Analytics & Execution will work closely with the Commercial leadership team to create and execute an end-to-end metrics driven approach to the Marketo Commercial business. This includes leading a team that brings together relevant data, operationalizes it for use by the team, provides deep-dive analysis where necessary, and implements tools that scales how this data is consumed across the org. The right candidate will also execute individual projects, in partnership with the VP, go-to-market, that support the Commercial business.

The biggest impact will come from an individual who has both a strong business and operating intuition and exceptional project and program management skills. The ideal candidate will roll-up their sleeves to understand and assess business needs, identify potential gaps in data/metrics/processes, and turn problems into prioritized and well-executed programs to benefit the broader organization. Your prior experience operating in fast-paced, cross-functional and collaborative environments will provide you with the foundation necessary to be successful in this dynamic, high-impact position.

What you’ll do

  • Lead a diverse team of individuals that spans analysts and program managers
  • Develop and manage the weekly, monthly and quarterly metrics review cadence with a clear program plan
  • Create a sustainable process that unifies data that spans marketing, sales & retention performance
    • Partner with operations and finance to capture and distribute relevant metrics
    • Operationalize metrics & data throughout the Commercial organization, from IC to leader, for constant inspection & review of key metrics
    • Implement reporting and visualization tools to scale the metrics driven approach
  • Analysis – ongoing & project-based deep dives into various areas of the Commercial business
  • Program management – Executing a wide variety of initiatives and programs that impact the Commercial business

What you’ll need to succeed

  • 5+years of proven experience in operations, finance, or analytics, with relevant program management experience.
  • Experience leading teams of at least 4 people
  • The right mix of leadership, analytical and program management capabilities
  • Willingness to directly dive in to challenging problems
  • Comfort with technology and working with teams deploying reports & tools in Salesforce.com and Tableau
  • A “self-starter” approach and ability to thrive in the face of ambiguity.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with other leaders and hold leaders accountable where necessary
  • High attention to detail, balanced with the ability to “level-up” to the strategic issues
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Relentless, creative approach in clearing obstacles
  • Strong people skills, with distinctive ability to motivate and influence in a matrix
  • MBA from top-tier institution preferred.
  • Experience from top management consulting firm, software experience, preferred

Location

Our new office is in the Denver City Center near plenty of shops and restaurants. We also have amazing views of the Rocky Mountains from our windows.
