We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our team and help us build innovative data solutions for our internal stakeholders and help to develop analytic products for our customers. You will partner with finance, risk, operations, product and customer-facing teams. You will join our fast-growing company as our first Data Analyst and will have significant opportunity for growth as the team evolves. 

You will:

• Own the process with the key result of enabling the business to make data-driven decisions.
• Develop our data warehouse to deliver accurate timely data for internal and external stakeholders.
• Field, analyze, and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner, pulling in others as warranted.
• Identify ways to improve productivity and efficiency within the department including automation.
• Become the functional SME on Reserve Trust data. It's critically important to deeply understand our core systems, the data available and how to effectively package this data to deliver business insights.
• Work closely with IT/Engineering to develop and launch an ETL process to automate the extraction and manipulation of the data required for the data warehouse.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to ensure future technology is built to deliver data on demand to our internal and external stakeholders.
• Train and teach employees how to derive insights from reports and dashboards. All employees should know the process on how to access data required for their department. Bonus points for creating such intuitive reports that no training is required.
• Continuously improve the quality of data collected and reporting insights that can be delivered to the business.
• Complete and pass assigned company training.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• A high level of mathematical ability and knowledge of probability theory
• Knowledge of Programming languages, such as SQL and Python
• The ability to analyze, model and interpret data
• A methodical and logical approach to problem-solving
• Experience managing complex datasets to deliver clear analytics to the business
• Experience working with excel to automate the manipulation and production of data
• Experience working on challenging, complex problems. Demonstrated expertise delivering solutions with business impact
• Experience with nascent infrastructure (resources, processes, tools)
• College degree (BA) or comparable work experience
• Ideal but not required - Previous experience working with ETL processes and setting up BI infrastructure from scratch
