Objective of the Role:
In this role, reporting to the Marketing Analytics Team Lead you will develop and maintain performance dashboards and provide insights to clients and internal stakeholders on a weekly basis. The Senior Analyst will own the creation and enhancement of the back-end data infrastructure, extracting and integrating data from a wide variety of sources (especially the Google stack: DV360, Google Ads, SA360 as well as Amazon DSP, Facebook and client CRM systems) to build automated user-friendly dashboards to convey data, insights and trends.
In collaboration with the team at DELVE, the Senior Analyst will establish and maintain relationships with relevant internal stakeholders across the organization to understand key requirements and ensure that the reporting deliverables are addressing them. This role would also include data strategy work such as creating KPI frameworks, measurement plans and media testing recommendations.
This role will be instrumental in enabling the organization to make data-driven decisions, using their experience to design data visualizations and generate insights covering key business topics and needs.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience and proficiency in data visualization and data strategy. Exceptional candidates will also possess a proactive attitude when encountering new or unfamiliar challenges in the course of their job. Data engineering experience or coding will enhance this role but is not a requirement.
Primary responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end report development process in collaboration with internal and client stakeholders, including design and development of new dashboards and ongoing maintenance of existing reports
  • Work collaboratively with media team and client departments to interpret results and make data-driven recommendations
  • Serve as the point person for analytics requests from clients and members of the team, managing timelines, expectations and deliverables
  • Create measurement frameworks and roadmaps for new clients and testing initiatives.
  • Identify key areas of opportunity for improved data quality, reporting automation and insights generation. This could include identifying new partnerships, data platforms, trend analysis and/or social listening
  • Present findings, strategy and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders


Qualifications:

  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-pace, high-change environment
  • A flexible mindset that is energized, not frustrated, by the messiness common to rapidly growing organizations
  • 2+ years of experience in an analytical role at a media agency, marketing team, consulting company, or related field
  • 2-5 years tableau specific experience
  • A demonstrated track record of accomplishment in using Data Studio to design and develop sophisticated data visualizations and dashboards
  • Fluency working with MS Office suite products, with demonstrated ability to utilize advanced features/functions in Excel
  • Clear communicator and effective collaborator with a strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated analytical problem solving and insight capabilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a close team environment across offices/time zones, providing project management for various projects and initiatives
  • Candidate must be a self-starter, independent, a creative thinker, ambitious, and results-oriented
  • Ready to communicate in English
  • Advanced understanding of media, marketing and website data
  • Evidence of ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Understanding of project management techniques with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, priorities, tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to prioritize and schedule tasks, respond well to changing priorities, pay attention to detail and demonstrate quality time management and organizational skills
  • Experience working effectively across organization boundaries


Nice to haves:

  • Experience with additional visualization and dashboard tools such as Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, Supermetrics etc.
  • Utilize SQL to write new queries and support new reports, as well as edit, maintain, and improve existing reports and datasets.
  • Experience working with marketing tech tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Brandwatch, or other social analytics tools would be a plus
  • Experience with attribution and media mix modeling
  • Understanding of end-to-end marketing analytics including testing, clustering, other modeling and statistical techniques.

In Colorado, the salary range for this position is $70,000 - 90,000 plus a bonus potential and is based on prior experience and qualifications. The salary range outside of Colorado may be adjusted to reflect local market conditions.
