Job Duties and Responsibilities

As an analyst on the SlingTV UAT team you will be primarily responsible for testing releases, issues, and new projects relating to the sling.com website and it’s related systems. You will be responsible for developing test cases with users, product managers, and other teams. Additional responsibilities include validation of other business changes being made as well as supporting the app testing team when needed.

• Manage your own workload and clearly communicate to management work timelines and what support is needed
• Benchmark existing processes to industry best practices and identify opportunities increase to increase testing efficiencies
• Analyze current processes and procedures to make recommendations to promote effective operations within and between departments.  Recommend the final course of action among several alternatives for enhancements to operational policies, procedures, and systems
• Detailed testing of different requirements; noticing minute differences that few others see
• Evaluate performance against established metrics to determine acceptable levels of quality or efficiency for various business functions and units
• Communicate testing results to executives in an appropriate and timely format

Skills - Experience and Requirements

A successful Sling TV UAT Analyst will have the following:

• More than 5 years of professional corporate experience, acting as the voice of the customer focusing on the total customer experience
• Internal/External acceptance testing specific to end-user customer experience and features + functionality
• Strong attention to detail and ability to observe issues at both a micro and macro level, a good intuition
• Proficiency with complex problem-solving tools such as JIRA and Rally, and web-based software such as various browsers and tools
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree from four-year college or university required
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to interact effectively with programmers, C-level executives, marketing managers, operations managers, IT management, software development, test teams and infrastructure teams
