As a Senior Sales & Marketing Analyst in Xactly's Denver office, you will be responsible for helping drive the development of sales strategy and analytics globally to support Nutanix's continued growth through improved scale and efficiency. Additionally, this high visibility role frequently meets and collaborates with employees outside of the finance organization, so strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities:

  • Define sales strategy through close partnership with the leadership team to drive Go-To-Market (GTM) planning and execution
  • Establish consistent reporting and analytics across all sales regions
  • Run various regular and ad hoc analysis of key sales data including productivity, pipeline, forecasting, rep performance, territory planning, etc.
  • Leverage market/customer data to provide analysis that will drive sales strategy and planning
  • Work cross-functionally with key GTM stakeholders (e.g. Marketing, Channel) to build operating scale and achieve growth and profitability targets

     

    Required Skills:

  • Broad understanding of sales strategy and analytics in a B2B environment
  • Track record in helping lead high visibility initiatives and programs
  • Strong knowledge of the enterprise sales reporting process and metrics
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
  • Intellectual curiosity with respect to understanding the business and what drives success
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels throughout the organization
  • Exceptional proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Tableau
  • Embody a coaching mentality and serve as a mentor to fellow team members

     

    Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3-5 years in a sales strategy or analytics role
  • Experience with reporting / visualization and analytics tools and knowledge of Salesforce
  • Ability to provide practical business insights from complex data sets and drive resulting strategy
  • Background in a fast paced, high growth environment
