Senior Project Controls Analyst
Perform the Project Controls function during the program lifecycle to include Program Planning, Baseline/Schedule Development, Baseline/Schedule Implementation and Closeout.
What You’ll Do:
- Adhere to company policies/procedures related to Project Controls.
- Perform the following principles, concepts, practices and standards in accordance with the policies and procedures related to Project Controls.
- Baseline Maintenance:
- Work Authorization (WA) review
- Contract Reconciliation
- Statement of Work (SOW) deliverables and requirements analysis related to cost and schedule
- Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) development and maintenance
- Organizational Breakdown Structures (OBS) guidance
- Budget and funding profile development
- Direct Labor and indirect rate application and analysis
- Cost/Schedule management and analysis
- Resource planning and communication
- Subcontract/material cost and schedule analysis
- Risk assessment and analysis
- Performance Management:
- Earned Value System Description application
- Earned Value Management Systems architecture development, implementation and maintenance
- Integrated Master Plan/Integrated Master Schedule development and analysis
- Earned Value cost/schedule, integration and implementation
- Cost Performance Reports (IPMRs) 1-7 preparation and analysis
- Earned Value variance, trend and what-if analysis
- Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs) preparation and execution
- Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSRs) coordination, preparation and guidance
- Contract change monitoring and implementation
- Risk assessment and analysis
- Lessons learned documentation, assessment, and implementation
- Estimate At Completion (EAC) Development:
- EAC development and analysis
- Sales forecast development and analysis across program portfolio
- Risk assessment and analysis
- Fee accrual profitability analysis and recommendation
- Rate analysis
- Closeout:
- WBS closure and reconciliation
- Closeout document preparation and reporting
- Ensure that programs are compliant with regulatory requirements and conducted in accordance with BATC best practices.
- Ensure responsibility for the business aspects of the programs.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Support Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
What You’ll Need:
- BS in a related field plus 8 or more years of related experience.
- Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master’s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
- Strong user of tools like Excel.
- Experience working with the configuration of database tools like MPM, Costpoint and other database products.
- Strong business acumen and experience with DoD contracting.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in an office environment.
- Travel and local commute between Ball campuses and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.
Verification that your current security clearance or government customer access meets the requirement for this position will be required.
Relocation for this position is not available.
Compensation & Benefits:
- HIRING SALARY RANGE: $87,000 - $117,500 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
