Senior Database Administrator

We are currently seeking a highly driven Senior Database Administrator to join our team remotely or in Denver, CO. This role offers the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company delivering industry-leading solutions to customers in the world's most dynamic and fastest-growing sector. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIE S :

  • Administer, manage, and support Microsoft SQL Server version (2012-2019)
  • Backup, restore, and monitor SQLServer instances using standardized tools
  • Upgrade, patch, and migrate SQLServer instances in on-prem and to cloud
  • Ensure database security and integrity
  • Monitor backup jobs on all enterprise databases and perform routine disaster recovery scenarios
  • Provide DB support to development teams during the development phase
  • Develop database scripts, stored procedures, functions, and jobs automation
  • Monitor and tune database performance, optimize existing, and create new database performance monitoring procedures proactively
  • Participate in on-call after-hours support rotation, respond to support calls after- hours/weekends


REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • 7+ years of Microsoft SQL Server version (2012-2019)
  • Experience with the PostgreSQL
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science is preferred
  • Cloud administration skills in AWS and Azure are a bonus
  • Knowledge and experience in Database Performance, Tuning, and Optimization
  • Experience in installation and configuration of SQL Server in Virtualized Environments
  • Hands on experience with database security, auditing, backup/restore, DR, and high availability
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude and an ability to collaborate effectively


Salary Range: $98,000-$103,00
