A little about the role…
As a Senior Data Analyst on the Data Platform team at Procare Software, you will design and build dashboards, reports, and other information tools for internal stakeholders. You will work with various departments to understand our business processes, data sources, and define data and reporting requirements. Our goal is to promote and support a data-driven culture across the organization, delivering insights leveraging our data warehouse and master data originating from numerous systems and sources across the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze business processes, data sources, and define data and reporting requirements
- Define metrics and KPIs measuring business performance and progress towards company objectives
- Build reports and dashboards using Power BI
- Define, build, and curate data sets to drive self-service data exploration and analysis
- Assist team lead to triage and groom incoming requests
- Train users across the organization on the use of Power BI and self-service data exploration
- Research and define data quality metrics and implement automated testing of data
- Work with data engineers to learn to build and support AWS-based data pipelines and “lake house” architecture, while also training existing team on Power BI, towards a goal of building a more cross-functional team
Requirements
Our ideal candidate will have
- Advanced proficiency with Power BI report development, data visualization and dashboard design
- Advanced proficiency querying complex data with SQL and experience with SQL in a prior job role, preferably big-data oriented: Hive, Spark or Presto
- Intermediate proficiency with DAX, no proficiency with Power Query (“M”) required
- Understanding of statistics. Experience with regression analysis and machine learning a plus.
- Prior experience in a business intelligence, financial or business analyst role
- Experience working within a modern development methodology, such as Agile Scrum or Kanban
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to present and lead training sessions across organization: from senior leadership to groups of individual contributors

Salary
$80-120K DOE
Location
This position is based in our Denver office. We are currently in a flexible hybrid in-office/remote working model based on local COVID-19 health regulations and business needs. Candidates must be vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine or have a medical exemption or religious accommodation. Candidates must be willing and able to work from our Denver office a few days a week.
