The Senior Finance Data Operations Manager (SFDOM), reporting to the CFO, will work with the Finance, Revenue and Data Science teams to provide on-going management, reporting from and continuous improvement of the company financial, revenue and other data systems. Key systems that the SFDOM will leverage includes Salesforce.com, Zuora, Quickbooks, Jira, Big Query, among others.

The SFDOM will primarily be responsible for building and maintaining various integrations between data systems, building various analyses, and creating consolidated reports from disparate systems. Other solutions that the SBDOM may be responsible for include feature requests for existing systems, integrations between systems, and analytics. The SBDOM will also take a lead role in assessing, acquiring, and implementing new tools along with ongoing maintenance of existing systems. Finally the BDSOM may be asked to perform various finance or revenue related tasks such as:

  • Creation of monthly financial reports (variance analysis, ratios, etc.) for distribution to executives, board and investors
  • Deferred revenue entries and sales journal maintenance
  • Compilation and reporting of implementation and product support statistics
  • Monthly bank reporting
  • Commission and SPIFF calculation and reporting
  • Working with Revenue Team leader to update accounting for changes to commission plans

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, detail, process and project-oriented individual focused on building and maintaining a company-wide set of efficient tools that meet the needs of all employees. This position demands a high-level understanding of process and procedures that drive a successful organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILIITIES:

  • Build and maintain various integrations between data systems
  • Improve and/or update any current data integrations, scripts and procedures
  • Build various analyses and create consolidated reports from disparate systems
  • Create and develop financial and KPI dashboards and other reporting mechanisms
  • Month end financial and operational reporting packages
  • Identify critical business issues and initiatives and provide researched analysis on solutions
  • Update financial forecast with actual results
  • Assist with board deck preparation
  • Various finance or accounting related tasks as needed
  • Negotiate contracts with consultants, technical personnel and vendors to reach systems and solution end goals as needed
  • Work with the Revenue Operations to research, validate, and organize revenue goals and progress towards goals
  • Research ongoing processes and tools to keep up to date with newest systems and best practices for business implementations

EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Salesforce Certification
  • 3 years of experience in systems administration and project management, with deep experience in Zuora and Salesforce.com strongly preferred

SKILLS

  • Zuora and Salesforce.com administration expertise
  • Knowledge of Jira, Big Query, and other database systems a plus
  • Consolidating data or creating reporting capabilities from disparate systems
  • Quickbooks knowledge and/or familiarity with other accounting systems a strong plus

Location

While we are primarily remote, we do have a great office space located in beautiful downtown Denver right next to the 16th street Mall.
