Description
The Gogo Business Aviation Salesforce Business Analyst will carry out the analysis and design of the Business Systems domain focusing on our CRM solution, Salesforce. Working within the Systems Analysis & Engineering team, the aspiring candidate will develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the needs of the various stakeholder groups throughout the organization from a business perspective and how they translate into technical objectives. Efforts include defining, documenting and communicating business requirements to support the implementation of features and products.

How will you make a difference?
- Ensure that software development teams are equipped for the successful delivery of iterative goals by providing clear, refined requirements, process flows and acceptance criteria in a timely manner
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicting information, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from underlying needs
- Improve Gogo’s cost structure by using data, stakeholder interviews & past experiences to identify areas of opportunity in the way we do business in order to save time, labor costs and/or infrastructure costs
- Collaborate with system analysts, engineers & architects and subject matter experts to establish the functional/technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs
- Use the company strategy to judge the relative priority of - and to anticipate - infrastructure versus new feature development, as well as working with stakeholders to get early buy-in and build a common vision
- Act as a liaison and interpreter between business units, technology teams and support teams
- Develop a thorough understanding of the business processes, technical designs and specifications in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Participate in cross-functional release planning events and keep a pulse on changes across various teams to ensure the successful delivery of end-to-end solutions
- Gather, create and document current and future business process flows
- Provide support to Salesforce users in sales and service teams, and act as a point of contact for customer support
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or Technical field
- 3+ years of proven experience in business process design and requirements management related to integrated software systems.
Required Experience, Skills and Talents
- Experience configuring various Salesforce modules including but not limited to case management, campaign management, workflows, profiles, roles, sharing rules, reports, custom objects and layouts
- Proficiency with MS Office suite of products, including Visio, Word, Excel and Power Point
- Demonstrated knowledge of relational database concepts and data migration projects
- Systematic understanding of integrated back office systems, including subscription-based accounting practices
- Ability to simplify complex processes or ideas and effectively communicate a current or future function
- Creative thinker with an outgoing personality and strong initiative
Desirable Experience, Skills and Talents
- Salesforce Administration Certifications
- Experience in the technology industry using an Agile delivery methodology
- Experience and/or interest in the telecommunications or aviation industry
Compensation: $69,000 - $86,000
Target Annual Incentive: 5% of base compensation
