Job Description

FIS’ Global Business Resilience organization is seeking a high caliber, entrepreneurially-minded Senior Business Continuity (BC) Analyst who enjoys making a difference in a high growth company.  The Senior BC Analyst will have a passion for impactful global business resilience planning along with the desire to relentlessly champion best practices in a high-volume, dynamic environment. This role will support the execution of the Business Continuity Management program across the global organization.

Responsibilities:

The Senior BC Analyst will assist in helping to drive sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable improvements to the program aimed at resilience and risk reduction. These activities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the completion of the annual BCM cycle for assigned organizations including:

  • Conducting Business Impact Analysis

  • Developing and/or enhancing Business Continuity Plans

  • Designing and conducting BC trainings and exercises

  • Document and follow up on action plans for all phases of the cycle

  • Conduct and report on variance analysis findings between business requested application dependency Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and established ITDR applications RTOs to ensure alignment between recovery capabilities and requirements

  • Analyze data and assist in identifying opportunities for strategic improvement, mitigation of recovery gaps, and resiliency risks

  • Gather data from multiple sources, analyze, report program metrics and assist in preparation of program updates to management

  • Act as a subject matter expert and trusted point of contact to internal stakeholders to:

  • Champion general BCM awareness throughout the enterprise

  • Develop robust BCPs and appropriate recovery strategies using industry standards and regulatory guidelines

  • Work with respective departments across the enterprise to ensure effective understanding and education of Business Continuity Plans and recovery strategies

  • Understand dependencies within the business as well as with external vendors

  • Participate in Crisis Management trainings, exercises and incidents as appropriate

  • Track and maintain resilience documentation; ensure all program artifacts are up to date

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years progressive experience in business continuity, disaster recovery and risk management

  • Industry certifications such as CBCP, MBCI, ISO22301 will be prioritized

  • Experience working with global compliance standards and business continuity planning frameworks

  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel across the organization

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite

  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and appropriately based on audience with excellent facilitation and customer service skills

  • Must possess a strong track record of collaboration and teamwork beyond direct-line reporting to ensure efficient relationship with ITDR and CM teams as well as business unit staff across the enterprise

  • Excellent written and verbal communications, critical thinking skills, effective interpersonal skills, strong presentation abilities

  • Ability to be flexible and work effectively with ambiguity and change

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and high-pressured environment
