Research & Data Insights, Account Coordinator

The Research & Data Insights Coordinator provides primary research and data analysis support from inception to completion.  This role is responsible for assisting the execution of custom sponsorship measurement solutions for clients; including market research methodology design, questionnaire development, and programming, sample management, data extraction, open-ended coding, and reporting.  The goal of this position is to demonstrate why analytics matter to the sponsorship industry and passionate about discovering new ways to find, use, and extrapolate data to tell that story.

Job Responsibilities

  • Market Research: support survey design and questionnaire updates, program and quality check online surveys, export, and clean data after fielding, coordinate open-end coding, assist in cross-tabulation of data, perform data entry for report deliverables.
  • Data Collection: gather and input impressions and business intelligence data based on a client’s various sponsorship activation exposure.
  • Consumer Behavior Insights: utilize syndicated research platforms (i.e., Nielsen Scarborough) to pull and analyze secondary research data for client deliverables.
  • Data Visualization & Deliverable Automation: improve data visualization across report deliverables and assist in automating report creation.
  • Internal Support: maintain internal market research calendar, maintain and create timelines and training materials, perform general administrative duties from time-to-time (i.e., printing deliverables).

Job Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 1-2 years of industry experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis in Excel
  • Exceptional attention to detail concerning updating and editing reports
  • Quantitatively inclined; loves working with numbers and eager to apply data-driven solutions to complex business questions
  • Experience with survey programming software such as Qualtrics, Decipher, or SurveyGizmo
  • Knowledge in SPSS, Q or WinCross
  • Comfortable with various streams of data such as primary market research data, syndicated data, business intelligence data, impressions data, etc.
  • Is a team player; can easily work with multiple personality types, willing to jump in and help get projects through the finish line, etc.
  • Comfortable interfacing with clients and third-party vendors
  • Go-getter; takes the initiative, curious, and willing to learn
