Healthgrades is focused on providing trusted information that helps consumers and providers make meaningful connections. As a core member of our team, the Product Data Analyst works to manage various product related data pipelines, ensuring that features and enhancements are fully analyzed and tested prior to deployment.

You will be responsible for understanding and validating the end to end data flows of each Healthgrades product. You will also be responsible for providing guidance to the Product and QA team on how the data flows through the backend system.

What you will do

  • Conduct effective data analysis and communicate findings to Product Owners and Engineers.
  • Understand and define critical path data pipeline items and their impact to the presentation layer in a complex multi-tenant environment. 
  • Be responsible for ongoing, continuous improvement to build testing efficiency and effectiveness through the use of innovative data validation tools, and close collaboration with engineering and product.
  • Assist in defining overall data quality standards with engineering and business stakeholders to ensure major milestones are met.
  • Develop and implement agile data pipeline test approaches, strategies, plans, and expected results to ensure backend data validation is part of every sprint.
  • Define data requirements for critical path features and communicate to the Product, Engineering and QA teams.
  • Execute data pipeline testing when needed for critical path items.

What you will bring

  • 5+ years of experience working with healthcare data
  • 2+ years of data requirements gathering and quality assurance
  • Strong knowledge of data pipelines, UI/UX development and testing practices
  • Strong SQL skills and knowledge of backend infrastructure
  • Experience with consumer driven healthcare products
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Agile and Kanban SDLC

  • Salary: $104K - $117K annually*
