The search begins to find the next Beautiful Mind-like person to join our Planning and Forecasting team. We're looking for someone who's numbers, data driven who can present the hell out of their findings to a group of folks without skipping a beat. This role is crucial - not only are you helping impact what we buy, but you'll probably be the next residential analytics, Excel expert. 

If diving headfirst into a steeping pile of data is your thing, then you're probably the right kind of weird we're looking for. 

Who You Are:

• You've got relationship building skills that make you a danger at networking events. In fact, you've probably been banned from a few conventions because you steal the actual convention.
• You thrive on learning things on your own, so much so that you probably told your teachers in school that their services were no longer needed.
• You have an unhealthy obsession with analytics to where it's actually concerning for your well-being.
• You're so detail oriented that you often times get asked to review other people's work for them, and have even thought about just making a career out if it.

What You'll Do:

• Accountable for bottom-up demand forecast of specific product types at a SKU level and presenting to leadership in monthly Demand Review meetings
• Convert the demand forecast into production forecast on a monthly cadence and
• Provide sales and merchandising with lead time estimates
• Communicate scheduling conflicts cross-functionally
• Complete inventory position analysis for all product types on a regular cadence
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining medium to long-term production schedules based on inputs from demand planning
• Provide capacity plans to be communicated with vendors
• Assist with publishing and distribution of purchase orders
• Ad-hoc analysis as needed
• Collaborate with development, sourcing, merchandising, marketing, sales, and design to generate demand plans for seasonal and carry-over products
• Partner with Merchandising to improve size curve accuracy
• Work closely with the Dir of Planning to understand the impacts of the forecast and inventory levels on the business
• Assist to maintain balanced inventory levels
• Write purchase orders to enable on-time delivery for launch dates

What You Have:

• Supply Chain degree preferred, but not required (or relevant experience)
• Strong Excel skills
• Love for apparel, fashion, and consumer goods
• Ability to solve analytical problems
• Attention to detail: We are placing buys for most products at Shinesty, one small mistake can have a drastic effect
