Position Overview:
Brilliant Earth is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM (Fusion) Techno-Functional, responsible for the full-cycle implementation and support of technical tasks in Oracle Cloud, including gathering requirements, designing, developing, workshops & demos, CRP, and UAT. As a Techno Functional subject matter expert, you will bring your experience in implementing & Supporting Oracle HCM Cloud modules (Core HR, Payroll, Absence, Talent Management, Compensation and Benefits) to ensure best in class system performance.
What you’ll do:
- Perform HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas, BI Publisher Reports/Integrations and Approval Workflows.
- Perform Unit testing and develop test plans as per the business requirement.
- Adhere to documented development standards and implementation of "best practice" development methods.
- Collaborate with Oracle Support to provide solutions as functional and technical bugs are encountered.
- Manage the QA process (I.e. understanding requirements, preparing QA Scenarios, documenting findings, working with development team explain concerns, providing QA Signoff with artifacts to Application Manager)
- Develop and execute integrated test plans and supporting the client during user certification testing by creating and conducting realistic test scenarios, creating detailed trouble tickets, and working with the project team and client to identify and confirm issue resolution.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions to collaborate with groups of subject matter experts and users to identify business needs and processes.
- Identify obstacles and issues, troubleshoot and work with team members to derive viable solutions.
- Lead the effort to elicit, analyze, capture and validate client business needs and processes and map them into functional and technical requirements to derive viable solutions for the Oracle Fusion HCM implementation life cycle.
- Lead functional specification walkthroughs and initiate the review and drafting of functional design specifications, project deliverables, technical specifications, test plans, and scripts and implement changes to the original scope when required.
You’re a great candidate if you have:
- 6+ years of experience in supporting HR Functions.
- 3+ years’ experience working with more than one module within Fusion (Cloud) HCM, such as Core HR, Benefits, Workforce Compensation, Absence and OTL, Goals, Performance, Talent Review, Succession Planning
- Experience in Project implementations and production support as Techno-functional consultant.
- Experience in testing Extracts, OTBI and BI Reports
- Experience in testing Annual HR Cycles (i.e., Benefits Open Enrollment Cycles, Goal/EOY Performance, Workforce Compensation) and Day-to-day Testing (i.e., Entering Hires/Terminations, Absences, Timesheets).
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, BI Publisher, OTBI, HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas, Workflows Experience working with an offshore/onshore delivery model.
- Ability to multi-task, problem solve and prioritize time effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Ability to collaborate with other team members providing guidance during QA Staff augmentation.
- Able to work independently and consider cross-functional and downstream impacts with close attention to detail and customer-focused mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
The targeted budget for this position is $95-115k/year This compensation budget range may be adjusted at any time at the discretion of the company.
