The Operations Data Analyst is responsible for the collection, management, reporting and analysis of data related to the performance of Spectralink’s Operations department. This position will be the lead for understanding and evaluating data sources within Spectralink and will drive improvement in accuracy where possible. This role will be the lead for creating and managing reports and metrics that measure performance and opportunities for improvement in Supply Chain Management, On Time Delivery, Manufacturing and Quality.
The Operations Data Analyst will be responsible for creating operational models that forecast volume, capacity and costs related to all Operations and Supply Chain functions. Additionally, this position will take a leadership role in facilitating analysis of all metrics and models with each functional owner to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings as well as present challenges and opportunities to varying levels of management.
Responsibilities:
Partner cross-functionally to create a common reference of current data sources and identify potential gaps or risks in the data
Work with functional owners to create and manage reports/metrics that efficiently monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Create predictive models – using Microsoft Excel or other tools – that can be used for forecasting and planning resources
Conduct regular analysis of Quality and Manufacturing data to identify risks and opportunities for improvement
Present metrics to cross-functional teams
Define key performance indicators and measurements of success for each project
Develop cross-functional metrics and reporting for ongoing management of performance as needed
Qualifications:
· Demonstrated strong experience with advanced Excel and Access skills.
· Experience analyzing complex data sets from multiple sources.
· Ability to model and share insights from data.
· 3+ years of experience and/or bachelor’s degree required
· Strong data analytics skills a must
· Excellent communication skills, including writing, presenting, and comprehension of technical information.
