We are looking for a Merchandise Data Coordinator to join our Operations team. This role will be at the intersection of the customer, vendor, and designer experience supporting critical product data and ensuring smooth executions against partner programs. This role will assist the operations and merchandising team in daily execution of the product pipeline (getting product to site, setting up new vendor content and features, etc.), quality assurance on product data and attributes from vendors, and coordinating product changes or programs with key cross-functional partners (particularly the design operations and marketing teams). You’ll be at the intersection of

Key Job Responsibilities:

    • General
      • Support the Merchandise Operations Manager in managing vendor relationships and programs, onboarding new vendors and ensuring their product data is properly manifest on the Havenly website
      • Interact and communicate with various levels in the organization from engineers to contract designers and external vendorsTroubleshoot problems and identify solutions 
      • Produce work that is efficient, accurate and detail-oriented
      • Jump in on whatever merch and operational tasks may come up that are critical to driving our business forward 
    • Item set up/data management
      • Assist with vendor item set up to create a compelling product experience on the site with intuitive category navigation. Help facilitate a clear and accurate product details page.
      • Tag existing vendor items with additional product details and tags to enable better search and discoverability of products by both designers and clients
      • Participate in various website and/or product data testing and QA
      • Liaise with marketing and tech & product team to update and troubleshoot vendor product display issues
      • Ensure accurate and high-quality data across the site, with an understanding of its impact on the customer experience.
    • Project Management
      • Prioritize and manage a high volume of product data needs, partnering with Engineering to ensure consistent output
      • Escalate issues and recommendations with an appropriate level of urgency.
      • Log bug or feature tickets to inform product and engineering teams of issues and tracking priorities and resolution.
      • Communication best practices, following up with status-updates and providing clear next steps

Key Job Qualifications:

  • 2 years + of experience working at an online consumer brand or physical store retailer, preferably in the e-commerce space.
  • Outstanding individual and team performer with an excellent track record of driving success.
  • A self-starting attitude: You work independently and effectively when directed by a manager
  • An undergraduate degree from a top-tier school with some retail or merchandising work experience.
  • You have a high attention to detail and an interest in learning more about the technical aspects required to support large ecommerce experiences
