As a Marketing Technology Architect, you will be an integral part of our team by onboarding clients and client marketing data, to enable powerful visualizations and insights to their business.  In this role, you will guide clients and internal teams to stage data platforms and information; which will allow you to blend, shape and harmonize the data model and achieve the business goals of the client. 

What you will do:

  • Extract data sets from multiple marketing/data platforms and perform data cleaning and quality steps via Datorama. Data sources will include: Digital marketing platforms, Paid Search platforms, Social Ad platforms, Programmatic DSP platforms, CRM Data & Platforms, Tracking and Analytics data sets, Organic Search and Social data, Local Listing Data, Email marketing platforms, Traditional Marketing data sets.
  • Implement and manage data ecosystem and architecture 
  • Audit data architecture and classifications from multiple sources 
  • Manage the extraction, loading, and transformation of multiple data sets 
  • Clean all data and metrics; perform override updates where necessary 
  • Produce data mapping rules, and data harmonization rules to meet the client objectives 
  • Generate custom dimensions and metrics through data extraction and classification rules 
  • Create and manage data fusions, parent child relationships and classifications as necessary
  • Guide end users through onboarding and initial discovery, execute against all business requirements
  • Identify opportunities for scalable, efficient improvements on processes. 
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure quality data inputs and visual outputs 
  • Manipulate and analyze “big” data sets synthesized from a variety of sources, including media platforms and marketing automation tools 
  • Partner with Analysts as needed to generate data visualizations and ensure data is presented accurately and is visually pleasing 
  • Maintain documentation on data automation and business rules 
  • Apply industry best practices to deliver advanced yet flexible data solutions

What you will bring:

  • 4 years of experience in data management and visualization in a marketing setting
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field 
  • Ability to self-teach and pick up new concepts quickly 
  • Experience with advanced analytics reporting and managing large data sets 
  • Understanding of large data structures and concepts 
  • Experience using Datorama or similar agnostic data marketing dashboards 
  • Proficient in data modeling and organizing data relationships
  • Datorama Architect/Associate certification 
  • BI tool experience with large data sets (Tableau, Good Data, Birst, SAS) 
  • Data modeling and SQL experience, Programming language understanding
  • Google Campaign Manager Certification is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $91,000 - $115,000 annually*
  • Bonus: up to 5% annually
