Job Description
Manages and is responsible for accurate and consistent data insights and analytics for Beverage Packaging North and Central America as directed. This person will ensure analysis functions meet the division’s overall plans and objectives, including but not limited to; Data Sets, Subscriptions, Point of Sale Information, Earnings, Investor Relations Data, etc.
What are we looking for?
- Ensures competitor actions, external business environment, and company performance are factored into market model and output it transformed into actionable insights that inform and support the strategic vision of the business.
- Manages ongoing communication of impacts to network and Ball demand caused by can market trends, competitor intelligence, and market share developments.
- Drive highly visible strategic projects, collaborating cross-functionally to structure problems, understand opportunities, and develop solutions that bring about impactful change
- Organize complex business problems into project structures that can be researched, analyzed, and solved. Synthesize findings and summarize a broad range of data inputs into frameworks that enable clear communication of data and insights
- Lead data analyst team in ensuring consistency in reporting across multiple data platforms, and creating easily accessible dashboards for easy access of business stakeholders
- Responsible for generating commercial foot print recommendations using Ball supply and demand data, market data, and future opportunities
- Generates business cases for solving a variety of business problems and advises BPNCA management on courses of action.
- Manages ongoing business relationships with data vendors, consultants, and selected partners.

What will you be responsible for?
- Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college or graduate degree level education or work-related experience
- Job related experience for 5 year(s) minimum
- Able to work equally well with quantitative and qualitative data sources to provide data-driven solutions
- Excellent analytical skills, with experience using advanced analytical techniques (such as Tableau); strong hypothesis driven approach and execution skills
- Research and apply critical thinking to industry trends, competitor dynamics and current events to provide relevant business insights
- Use of syndicated data tools, such as IRI
- Able to balance data analysis with data visualization
- Prior experience creating reports and presenting to senior management
- High competency strategic thinking, and execution
- Proven ability to challenge status quo
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with very short timelines/deadlines
- Creates presentations and use storytelling skills that are clear and intuitive that provide a compelling argument and help influence and guide business decision making
Compensation & Benefits
- Hiring Salary Range: $ 98,500 - 150,500 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
- Other Compensation: This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
