The Team
As part of the Enterprise Data product t eam, you will deliver the data flow strategy with ground floor innovation through simplification , abstraction, and management of complex data processes across the business. The team e nabl es clients to consume quality conte nt and analytics in to their critical tools and processes where, when and how it's needed.

The role , building superior data delivery solutions across Enverus Trading & Risk, offers unrivaled access into the breadth of content driving the commodities market s , with a unique perspectiv e on how market data is truly valued by clients. The ability to interface and shape how Enverus delivers both the content, and the structure for that content, gives the role tangible depth in the real-world application of market data.
Strategic Responsibilities

  • Interact directly with clients and c ontent consumers to understand, iterate, and prioriti z e data delivery r equirements
  • Serve as the North American regional energy and commodity market data expert, proactively acquiring data sets, getting ahead of vendor and market changes
  • Lead internal product and engineering planning discussions to define and prioritize the resolution of data delivery issues
  • Serve as the North American client and sales advocate for onboarding and prioritiz ing new data sets requested
  • Insist on a consistent, scalable, and sustainable method to resolving data quality issues which ensure the root cause is unveiled and communicated to prevent solving data quality problems in silos
  • Align with diverse internal business units on strategy and goals, assessing their development needs, fit and integration requirements with a goal of supporting a robust enterprise data framework
  • Build and maintain an in-depth understanding of data usage in your region and ensure proper data governance and metadata management supports your client requirements


Working Responsibilities

  • Define success metrics, use data to drive decision-making and use dashboards to present both financial and technical points of view up to management
  • Understand customer data problems , document requirements, and w rite user stories, process flow diagrams, and acceptance test criteria, for overseeing quality assurance and deployment in client data delivery
  • Lead data teams to build and refine data delivery , partnering with the development team s on short-cycle design and scrum interactions, meeting dates against objectives and deliverables, driving decisions and escalating appropriately
  • Work across the data business to ensure that work and resources are prioriti z ed and marshaled to follow our company strategy and achieve the highest growt h for our business
  • Evangeli z e a simplified central data layer for managing enterprise data : novice definitions , plain practices, consistent method s , appropriate processes , and consistent metadata framework , etc.
  • Assist sales teams in your region to retain clients and achieve double digit gr owth by support ing the onboarding of new datasets , triaging existing datasets, and improving products and infrastruc tur e for complete visibility and monitoring of the client data delivery process .


What we ' re looking for
We are seeking a Product Owner with demonstrable experience in market data processing , use and management , coupled to a strong client led focus on data quality . Deploying our development teams, you will own and drive our market data delivery solutions making them robust, repeatable , simple to use and accurate. The role is responsible for execution . Tangible deliveries and measurable success are common in your past. You should demonstrate experience of successful delivery on scope, on time, and on budget.
The Role
Support the Director of Enterprise Data in the development of a clear Trading & Risk solution by prioriti z ing the data product roadmap items that will drive data quality improvements measured by superb client retention and higher YoY ARR growth. A successful effort will ensure division meets bookings targets, increases retention ratio, encourages client upgrades, and wins new logos.
Lead the Enterprise Data team creating a data governance vision which utilizes market knowledge, client collaboration and best practices to drive the 1-year, 3-year, 5-year strategy. A successful effort will fuel growth with a higher conversion rate of opportunities in the sales funnel, as well as retain existing clients.
Work as a c ollaborat ive group with your peers globally to both uncover opportunities and avoid waste . The role will allow you to stretch your global networking skills to solve international market data problems.
Core Qualifications

  • 7 + years m arket da ta experience in energy commodities with a working knowledge of exchange and derivatives trading
  • 5+ years product ownership experience, delivering customer-facing SaaS services or products
  • Demonstrable exposure to data structure and technologies , understanding what a data set should have, why the components are critical
  • Strong understanding of market data, risk management, curve structures, simulations, and the commodity trade real-time, intra-day and end-of-day lifecycle s
  • 5+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus
  • Science , business or m athematics degree, or other comparable qualifications
  • Pragmatic Marketing certifications a plus


Key Qualifications

  • Customer-first mind-set with the ability to understand and act on customer needs , generate service offerings based on customer data and insights
  • O rgani z ed and process driven with consummate regard for details and logic
  • Knowledge and familiarity with the systems landscape ETRM, ERP, CRM " Salesforce ", Product Management "Aha" and Development "JIRA" a plus
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to link design features to strategic objectives using data to substantiate recommendations
  • Diplomacy and tenacity when managing and communicating with stakeholders at all levels of business
  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects
  • The highest ethics, integrity, and respect for confidential information
  • Thrives in a dynamic environment with ever-changing priorities
  • A self-starter with the ability to work in a team , lead a team or work as an individual contributor
  • Travel 25% within your region (Americas)
  • Ability to w ork from home and in the office above request


Salary Range: $150,000-$180,000/15
