About the Team VIZIO is looking for a highly technical, hands-on Senior Engineer to build machine learning infrastructure and production models. As a senior Engineer, you will be leading design and architecture of new machine learning infrastructure for data analysis, training and derive fast insights from viewing data coming from millions of TVs. This position can be located in San Francisco, CA, New York, NY, Denver, CO What You Will Do

• Quickly come up to speed on current pipeline and analytics, identify areas of improvement and adopt industry best-practices for data processing, movement, analysis and management
• Design machine learning infrastructure and pipeline for Engineering, Data Scientists and Product management to collaborate.
• Create highly scalable and self-serve framework for EDA and model building
• Establish industry leading design patterns and implement continuous training, model versioning, automated data/schema skew detection and model deployment.
• Design batch and real-time pipelines that generate predictive models for a variety of business needs
• Collaborate with Ops team on robust monitoring infrastructure, develop strategy to get quick insights into various stages of the pipeline

About You

• BS/MS in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of progressive industry experience in design and implementation of machine learning infrastructure and applications.
• 5+ years of experience working with big data
• Strong background in building scalable and fault-tolerant distributed systems
• Experience with designing and implementing real-time and batch processing pipelines
• Strong programming skills in Python
• 3+ hands-on Experience with the following or equivalent technologies - Spark, kafka, Airflow, Tensorflow
• Hands-on experience training models using Deep learning, Computer vision, and Transformers
