Paladina Health is seeking an experienced Healthcare Technology Leader to join the team at our corporate headquarters in Downtown Denver! This individual will work in a fast-paced, start-up environment where they will play an integral role in managing the platform to include both technology as well as analytics.  This dynamic leader will lead a team of technologists across business/clinical systems, analytics and infrastructure.  They will also play a fundamental role as we venture into our next evolution to Digital Health.

Essential Functions:

LEADERSHIP

  • Lead, develop and implement technology initiatives that enable Paladina Health to compete more vigorously and more profitably in a constantly changing and demanding marketplace.
  • Manage, motivate, and develop all staff within the technology group. Ensure the organizational structure is appropriate for supporting Paladina Health’s current and future business needs. Recruit appropriate talent.
  • Thorough knowledge of principles and practices of customer service and relations to develop and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction with services and products delivered by the IS Department.

PLANNING

  • Translate business needs into system solutions making maximum use of available tools while ensuring longer term supportability of the architecture.
  • Oversee analysis and evaluation of staffing requirements to fulfill business requirements including directing the evaluation of make vs. buy decisions as they relate to outsourcing vs. in-house provisioning and identifying and developing strategic partnerships with key technology suppliers, licenses and contracts, vendors and consultant organizations.

TECHNICAL & APPLICATION SUPPORT

  • Director will lead in the formation of the roadmap, assist team with user group support, and guide solution development and implementation of solutions for the organization as it relates to the Paladina Health platform and its key business systems (Salesforce, eClinicalWorks, Tableau or Spotfire)
  • Director will assist IS Staff in monitoring and maintaining the computer systems and networks of the organization. They will install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware/software faults and solve technical problems, either over the phone or face-to-face.

EFFICIENCY & EFFECTIVENESS

  • Establish and measure technology performance relative to cost, value creation and customer satisfaction in the key areas of operating systems, telecommunications, network management and desktop support.
  • Lead and coordinate selection, installation, operation, support and maintenance of our information technology infrastructure (i.e. operating systems, networks, telecommunications, hardware, and peripherals).
  • Protect the company and its operations against technology risks, including unauthorized access to information, data integrity problems, loss of processing capability and poor service levels.
  • Be available to respond to off-hours situations, work occasional nights and weekends, off-hours situations, holidays and during times of emergencies and disasters.

Education, Experience, Competencies and Skills Required:

  • Experience in healthcare, digital applications and/or CRM applications are a strong preference.
  • 4-year college degree, MBA desired.
  • Approximately five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in the management and administration of a major information technology program, telecommunication system or function, at least two years of which must have been in a senior management position.
  • Seven plus (7+) years of total IT experience including computer operations management, multiple roles in systems implementation, supervision of technical personnel, architecture, security/compliance, business-wide strategic planning and budgetary responsibility.
  • Well-rounded business background with a broad understanding of healthcare and call center operations.
  • Verifiable track record of effective leadership which includes strong strategic thinking and successful execution with technical and intellectual resources.
  • Ability to establish immediate credibility at all levels, inside and outside the organization
