Primary purpose of the position:
Provides technical support to Beverage Packaging North & Central America as directed. The Financial Analyst will work cross functionally to automate and enhance report capabilities.
Essential Responsible Areas:
- Designs computerized models for business decision-making.
- Designs computerized models for Divisional forecasting; such as Revenue, Material Costs, Plant costs and other projects as needed.
- Participates in the design of standardized reporting, financial dashboards and KPI’s
- Prepares ad hoc reports and analysis on financial data to identify and measure improvement activities as needed.
- Initiates, reviews, masters, and follows all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for your area of responsibility. Creates and documents process flows, partners with the process leaders and subject matter experts to review existing flows to reflect changes driven by the FP&A team
- Participates in Process Improvement activities as needed.
- Develop process-improvement solutions that make use of Excel, VBA, or other applications to automate procedures.
Position Requirement & competencies:
- Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college or work-related experience
- Job related experience for 3 years preferred
- Ability to apply independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard business analysis techniques, procedures, and criteria
- Working knowledge of the following areas:
- Advanced finance, accounting, and business principles, practices, nomenclature and procedures
- Computer spreadsheets (Excel), word processing programs (MS Word)
- General economic principles
Compensation & Benefits
- Hiring Salary Range:$60,000 - $90,000 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
- Other Compensation: This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
