We are looking for an Analytics Strategy Director to be a critical member of the ecommerce leadership team to help transform every aspect of how we acquire, retain and engage customers through digital solutions. As part of this role, you will be a critical partner that drives marketing strategy, user experience, product enhancements and investment strategy. Your time will be spent driving insights with a team that understands and values your important contributions not banging your head against the wall trying to convince people to listen to you. To succeed in this role you must:
• Manage strategy development and functional insights to shape media strategy, conversion rate optimization, user experience enhancements, early life cycle engagement, upsell, retention and customer service and support.
• Sit on eCommerce leadership team and partner with leadership to build and prioritize roadmaps
• Build ROI models and determine investment thresholds to drive investment and marketing optimization in order to hit growth targets
• Do data-driven storytelling through quant analysis, dashboards, and data viz
• Build next best action models to prioritize owned media targeting for multiple business segments
• Participate in C-level meetings that are designed to discuss progress and shape business strategy
• Manage team of offshore data scientists and shape staffing strategy in order to support growing business
Desired Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, econometrics, mathematics, marketing, or operations analysis or equivalent (minimum 7 years) work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years’ using AI and data science (10+ years of analytics) to achieve business goals in large orgs.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in customer engagement—including sales, marketing, customer support, strategic analysis.
Bonus points if:
● Seasoned experience heading up teams, juggling multiple projects from
multiple locations.
• A blend of data strategy capability, consulting expertise and industry experience
• Experienced storyteller with data and communicating findings to a non-technical audience.
