Position Summary:

CW Hemp is looking for a dynamic self-starter, passionate about data and analytics, to join our marketing team. This position requires an analytical and strategic mind that can absorb large amounts of data, while having the capability to see beyond the data to provide intellectual insights. Successful candidates will offer a strategic perspective, sound business judgment, deep analytical capabilities, and a collaborative working style. They will possess intellectual curiosity and a passion for achieving practical business impact. Skills in problem definition, data mining and visualization, rigorous analysis, and recommendation development are also critical.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Leverage data to develop in­ depth understanding of our sales, product and consumer interactions, identify areas of opportunity, and execute projects to drive growth and consumer engagement

  • Lead the charge on how we use data to drive strategy, tactics & results. Be the subject matter expert in digital analytics and an advocate for testing & optimization

  • Provide analytical framework to evaluate campaign effectiveness/ROI

  • Advise internal team on patterns and relationships in the data, collaborate on test plans, campaign strategies & tactics across web, email, social, media, seo, content marketing

  • Identify customer behaviors, insights and segmentation that can be leveraged for targeting & personalization and to inform business decisions

  • Design and build relevant reports, dashboards and templates to steward results and insights and guide effective decision-making

  • Own data strategy & supporting technologies to support data-driven decision-making

  • Develop advanced tagging strategies for measuring attribution and capturing multi-channel campaign performance across: social, mobile, digital and offline channels

  • Leverage analytics, promotion & advertising strategy, LY business results and competitive insights to explain business performance to cross-functional leaders

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Ability to effectively break business questions into their key components, identify appropriate data sources and methodology for analysis to translate findings into actionable insights

  • Proven performance in analyzing multiple sources of data, ROI calculations and making recommendations to internal teams that result in increased sales

  • Understanding of statistical theory for experiment design as well as test/control fundamentals including hypothesis testing with measurements of statistical significance

  • Must be comfortable working with cross-functional team, conducting both planned and ad hoc analyses, preparing reports, and communicating insights to a variety of audiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in ecommerce marketing or equivalent, and 3-5 years relevant work experience managing web analytics, testing and site optimization for an ecommerce business of scale

  • Strong MS Excel, SQL, Google Analytics, Tableau skills required, and experience using Optimizely, VWO or similar A/B testing tools

  • Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, Email, Social Media, and Content Marketing, segmentation and targeting

  • Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively, ability to interact with all levels of an organization through methods including public speaking, written analysis and data storytelling

  • Have a collaborative work style with strong desire to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment that requires flexibility and the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV a plus
