Data Warehouse Delivery Manager
POSITION TITLE: Data Warehouse Delivery Manager (Full Time; Multiple Openings)
JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for managing the timely delivery of application services, specifically within the Data Warehouse and reporting space.
JOB DUTIES: Developing the vision and strategy for application service delivery within the Data Warehouse; Developing new application services proposals and driving pursuit and execution of contracts for application services; Managing engagement planning and budgeting for application services; Developing project roadmaps for development of application services and managing Engineers within the Engagement team to ensure timely delivery; Coordinating and assigning responsibilities between Developers and Architects to ensure timely delivery of project goals and targets; Mentoring and training Developers to ensure proper development of application services for the data warehouse; Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure application services optimization targets agreed upon with the client are met; Consulting with clients and users to elicit requirements, manage expectations and escalate issues that arise to ensure resolution; Managing resolution of issues that require partnership across client organizations and internal departments; Documenting and instructing on new requirements for data applications and determining feasibility of solutions; Managing the overall Reporting and Analytics portfolio and deliver solutions that align with cross functional business stakeholders; Overseeing and managing the migration of data warehousing platform to cloud; Building common data lakes and data warehouse environments to improve data consistency and offer a single system of record for reporting.
REQUIRED SKILLS/TOOLS: Experience with one of the following Analytical Databases: Teradata, Vertica or Snowflake; either Oracle or Postgres; either Tableau or PowerBI; SQL; Salesforce; Project Management; and Business Analysis of complex business processes for large-scale enterprise applications is required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE /
QUALIFICATIONS: US Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field, or foreign equivalent, plus one (1) year of experience is required. US Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field plus five (5) years of related experience is also acceptable. Within the foregoing parameters, any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
