Data Security Engineer - Networking

The Data Security Engineer is responsible for customer-facing IT, Networking, and System support. This role would work directly with Customers on the Support side to answer technical questions regarding Wdesk network and system requirements, and security features. You will be required to provide technical/troubleshooting breakdowns for issues related to connectivity, latency, bandwidth, inspection policies, along with browser and system performance issues. Excellent troubleshooting skills is a must, along with the ability to relay pertinent information back to Customers.
What You'll Do:
- Assist Customers, and Support Personnel with Customer Networking issues
- Work with Customers to understand and implement Wdesk security features
- Work with Customers to resolve System and Network related issues pertaining to the access, performance, and general usage of Wdesk
- Manage customer questions through email, calls, and video conferencing
- Work with customers on Networking including DNS, Proxy, ACL, Policy, and troubleshooting
- Understanding of encryption
- Work with creating technical instructions for support of Enterprise (IdAM, CASB, Networking, and Authorization)
- Work with application troubleshooting and access
What You'll Need:
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Exceptional working knowledge of Data Network Topologies, Firewalls, IPS, DLP, WAF, Proxy Services, and DNS
- Working knowledge of Cloud-based environments
- Must be able to understand and decypher Network Packet Captures
- Strong planning and organizational skills; project management is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize
- B.A./B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of IT Networking or Network Security experience
