The Data Scientist supports the Customer Analytics team, analyzing and answering questions regarding a wide variety of information. This person synthesizes data to help answer business questions and make informed business decisions.
What You'll Do: 

• Ad Hoc Analysis: Research, analyze, and answer questions from internal team members regarding company data
• Ensures data quality is of highest priority with no errors
• Ensures data cleansing is a specific and appropriate set of data meeting the team member's needs
• Analyzes data and presents to end user with a usable conclusion
• Develop predictive models and algorithms
• Synthesize data to help answer business questions
• Exploratory data analysis to better understand customer behavior and make better business decisions

What You'll Need:

• Experience writing database queries in SQL
• Advanced computer and database skills including proficiency in Excel spreadsheets and database queries required
• Exceptional detail and analytical skills to ensure that data quality is of highest priority with no errors
• Ability to obtain the appropriate data set, cleanse, analyze and present to end users with a usable conclusion
• Strong planning, organizing, and multi-tasking skills to prioritize numerous projects and ensure data is delivered in understandable manner to the end user
• Proficient research skills to locate market information using numerous internal and external sources of data
• Exceptional statistical knowledge with ability to conduct correlation analysis and predictive analysis preferred
• 1+ years experience programming in R or Python required
• Bachelor's degree in statistics-focused major required
• Master's degree preferred in statistics-focused field
• 5-10 years of progressive statistical-related work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
