Your Mission

Help us establish Pie as the preeminent commercial insurer among small business owners. Working with the Director of Operations Officer, you will be responsible for helping Pie build out all state and bureau reporting and maintaining compliance with requirements.

How You’ll Do It

As Pie’s Reporting Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring Pie has an establishing a data and reporting program as required by state agencies and rating bureaus. You will work with the product, finance, customer care and legal teams to ensure accurate and timely data reporting.

Whether It’s Right For You

You will be joining our team in our Denver office. Everything we do is connected, but we each have different roles. We are a start-up. All hands and minds are needed. This is an experienced executor role, and you’ll need to have prior experience in data reporting. Someone with experience with insurance data calls, workers compensation bureaus is preferred.

The Day to Day

  • Responsible for the preparation and filing of department of insurance data calls, including calls to National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) and Independent Rating Bureaus.
  • Respond to reporting inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Validate, reconcile and correct premium and coding data prior to reporting to regulatory agencies. Investigate reporting data errors to determine origin of errors.
  • Collaborate with internal partners regarding interpretations of reporting requirements to ensure accurate and timely submissions.
  • Maintain accurate log showing course of action taken for all incoming bureau error letters. Run various reports/queries from the bureau websites. Completes all research and works closely with the bureaus to determine validity of fines
  • Responsible for researching and responding to policy criticisms on all Independent Rating Bureau websites and NCCI.
