As part of the SEO Performance team, the IMM Data Coordinator (SEO), executes and monitors SEO strategies for a brand’s business objectives and consumer needs. You are responsible for coordinating technical implementations and content publishing and reporting performance. You play a key role within the agency by contributing to client projects in the following roles: content audits, research and insight analysis for brand positioning, on-page optimization, content marketing, local listings management and industry trends.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manages integrity of local listings accuracy and consistency on search engines, business listings and social networks
  • Gathers, tracks and implements change requests from client and store managers.

A Day in the life

  • Reports to the Sr. Manager of SEO Performance, assisting in the executing strategies, content marketing initiatives, editorial briefings, content calendars and local search management
  • Conducts content audits, develop keyword strategies, and writes metadata
  • Audits sites technical performance, taxonomy structure, and content placement
  • Generates competitive analysis benchmarks to track client’s performance against competition
  • Develops and generates campaign reporting that translates data into actionable items or ideas
  • Continually monitors SEO performance, runs ad hoc analyses, and provides recommendations for optimization and build strategies
  • Collaborates with Strategy, Media, Client Partnerships, Creative, Analytics and Engineering teams where appropriate
  • Manages client expectations, internally and externally through strong email and verbal communication
  • Researches and stays abreast of industry trends and algorithm changes, recommending and applying new tactics when/where appropriate

Here's what you need to get our attention

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with a strong academic record
  • 0-2 years relevant SEO experience either in-house or in agency-setting (internship experience counts!)
  • Ability and willingness to travel (~10%)

Here's what will make us call you for sure 

  • Must enjoy a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities
  • Self-starter with strong analytical, project management and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is a MUST.
  • Excellent writing ability and a foundational knowledge of social media platforms, blogging and SEO Content
  • Data management and organizational skills to keep correct records and track initiatives across thousands of digital store records
  • Experience utilizing web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools, DataStudio, HotJar, SEMRush, Conductor, SearchMetrics, etc.
  • Ability to understand and analyze source code and provide feedback for HTML, JavaScript and CSS elements
  • Excellent math, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Indisputable general computer proficiency
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines  
  • A knack for building productive relationships with clients and vendors to meet goals
  • Talent for collaborating on a team as well as working independently
  • Aptitude to communicate with individuals at all levels in the Company 

NOT required but will definitely give you an edge!

  • Paid media experience: Google Ads, Merchant Center, Facebook/Insta, Programmatic
  • CMS skills: WordPress, ButterCMS, Shopify, etc.
