Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Data Engineer will work on our Wireless Data Management team and own a cross functional portfolio of data management and analysis initiatives. They will collaborate with different Business units to proactively create data reporting and analytics solutions. They will be responsible to provide data based insights to the leadership team and maintain daily data quality.
A successful candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining database framework for Wireless Data Management Team and will be the main liaison between Operations, IT, Product and Systems and Tool teams to support automation and system support activities. A go-getter who requires minimal direction to build data models and database architecture.
Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

  • Design, development and delivery of data solutions in wireless space using cloud data platforms
  • Manage day-to-day development activities for new data solutions and troubleshooting existing implementations.
  • Work with product owners and technical leads to lead technical discussions and resolve technical issues
  • Apply best practices of data integration for data quality and automation
  • Work with product vendors to identify and manage open product issues
  • Solve complex data integration problems
  • Work with project team and technology partners to develop high-level designs and cost and effort estimates for new work efforts.
  • Develop and maintaining code for data ingestion and curation
  • Work with business analysts to understand business requirements and use cases


Skills, Experience and Requirements
Skills, Experience, and Requirements
To be successful in this role, our ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience delivering data solutions on a variety of data warehousing, big data and cloud data platforms.
  • Experience in ETL with a track record of delivering design solutions (> 5 years)
  • Substantial experience in Data Warehousing / Information Management (> 5 years)
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools and deep experience in any integration tool (e.g. Informatica)
  • Understanding of data modeling (logical and/or physical)
  • Knowledge of Scripting (UNIX) and scheduling tools (Control-M)
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision- making and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills


Salary Range
Compensation: $87,500.00/Year - $125,000.00/Year
