Data & Analytics Manager
Job Description:
Arrow Electronics is hiring a Big Data and Analytics Manager, to oversee a growing team of 7 at our world headquarter in Centennial, CO.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivers both pre and post project measurement including ROI calculations and forecasts.
- Partners cross-functionally and cross-organizationally to identify and implement data science techniques as well as informing and driving product roadmap.
- Responsible for leading a team of data scientists and analysts to create robust learning and measurement plans across 3 ecommerce platforms.
- Provides guidance and support leadership to Business leaders and stakeholders on how best to harness available data in support of critical business needs and goals.
- Leads the full cycle of iterative big data exploration, including hypothesis formulation, algorithm development, data cleansing, testing, insight generation/visualization, and action planning.
- Uses considerable expertise and independent judgment in collaborating with peers, data engineers, database managers, and business analysts in designing and implementing the research strategy needed to methodically and iteratively structure, extract, cleanse, sample, test, validate, and communicate data-driven insights from complex sources and significant volumes of data for complex and unique business problems
- Applies proven methods in working with divergent data types, data scales, and big data, to explore and extrapolate data-driven insights using advanced, predictive statistical modeling and testing applied to data acquired and cleansed from a range of sources
- Fosters a culture of data-based decision making.

What We Are Looking For
- A very technical but business savvy manager, who has experience managing both data science and marketing analytics, preferably in the electronic component industry.
- PowerBI Experience.
- Cloud: Azure Experience.
- Programming Knowledge: SQL, Python.
Even Better If You Have
- PMP Certification or Project Management Experience in General.
- Experience with Agile/Waterfall.
Experience / Education
- Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 8 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.
- Creates strategies and experiments to leverage data and technology to deliver better outcomes for customers
