About you:

You are the intelligence and insights engine of Artifact Uprising. You can turn spreadsheets and numbers into stories that illuminate key business opportunities. You love SQL, dashboards, KPI’s, p-values and you get excited about helping the team find key insights that drive the business forward. A poorly constructed A/B test is your worst nightmare. You managed large scale analytics platforms, but personally are looking for the company that you can help lead to the next level of insights, reporting and strategy.  

We are looking for a Data & Analytics Manager with extensive hands-on ecommerce analytics experience to help us reinvent e-commerce and build a first-in-class analytics team. You will work directly with our CEO to develop and implement analytics frameworks, reporting and tests to drive new customer acquisition as well customer retention. You will also work closely with the leadership team to partner on creating strategies to move the needle and continue our path of hyper growth.

Day to Day:

• Work directly with the CEO to explore new strategies using data.
• Responsible for the oversight and execution of all analytics, tracking, tagging/ data collection.
• Answer strategic questions for key stakeholders using data models and ad hoc analysis
• Assist engineering with database changes or enhancements to ensure accuracy of the existing models
• Partner with executive team to set data driven organizational goals
• Evolve our self-service data by integrating new sources and finding meaningful ways to slice the existing data we already store
• Tune performance of database and improve data architecture
• Write and debug ETL processes
• Manage all data collection and storage tools
• Manage first and third party tracking tags through Google Tag Manager
• Support teams in evaluating data capabilities of new tools
• Partner with Marketing to evaluate and scope A/B testing
• Evolve our company on its continued path to be data driven, scoping the next phase of data infrastructure and reporting.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years working with SQL
• Worked with Looker or similar data visualization tool
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (RDS)
• Experience analyzing large sets of data
• Experience working with retail or e-commerce business teams to improve their use of data
• Familiar with calculating customer metrics like Customer Lifetime Value or Retention Rates
• Familiar with web analytics (Google Analytics, etc.) metrics and dimensions
• Worked with transactional and customer data sets
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Team player and is excited to build new things
