Data Analyst
Ibotta is seeking a Data Analyst to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding.
This position is responsible for both Pricing and Sales Reporting / Analysis and will be involved in compiling data from multiple systems in a digestible way. The ideal candidate will be comfortable organizing, analyzing, and summarizing data to provide insights in a presentable format.
This position is located in Denver, Colorado or with the option of full-time remote. Candidates must live in the United States.
What you will be doing:

- Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights to inform business decisions
- Initiate and drive collaboration with stakeholders, architects, and data engineers to discover, define, cleanse, and refine the data needed for analysis
- Implement best practices to improve efficiencies, data quality, and reduce manual efforts
- Identify system automation and data enhancement opportunities
- Anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders internally and externally
- Work cooperatively with others across the organization to meet shared objectives
- Create and maintain internal documentation on tools and data sets
- Develop metrics, KPI’s, reports, and dashboards to support internal teams
- Create advanced SQL queries and dashboards
- Support ad hoc projects and reporting requests
What we are looking for:
- Technical Skills:
- Technical knowledge of Data systems (including Salesforce)
- Advanced understanding of SQL, Python, R, etc.
- Experience with visualization platforms (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, Mode)
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Ability to obtain data and information from disparate sources, link and analyze this information, perform data integrity checks, and conduct analysis
- Track record of creating scalable process improvements and automations
- Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently with little guidance or oversight
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, or similar operational roles preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred

Additional Details:
- This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, 401k match, profit sharing and equity.
- Base compensation range: $70,000-$80,000.
