Job Summary:

DispatchHealth is creating the most advanced and complete in-home care model in the world. As a key contributor toward that goal, the Credentialing Specialist for the DispatchHealth serves as a pivotal role in bringing care to the patient’s home as an alternative to hospitalization. This position provides high touch, first class credentialing and onboarding to our providers caring for our patients. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, extremely organized, and highly personable with a customer-first mentality. This person will join an already established team and will only add to the collaboration and teamwork already in place.

Qualifications:

· 2+years credentialing experience demonstrating the understanding of the various phases of the credentialing process.

· Knowledge and previous experience complying with NCQA standards, CMS guidelines, and multiple state-regulations.

· Strong and professional communication skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Acrobat pdf.

· Previous experience with customized credentialing databases, such as Verity, Echo, Cactus, or Intellisoft. Verity preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Interact with providers to collect and maintain application data for the credentialing and re-credentialing process.
  • Reviews and verifies documents related to the providers’ credentials to prepare for the decision-making process.
  • Monitors provider’s practice eligibility and sanctions status.
  • Works effectively and collaboratively with credentialing team members to ensure prompt processing of each provider.
  • Maintains knowledge of current credentialing policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Works closely with hiring staff to meet market deadlines and requirements.
  • Update and keep current, accurate information related to provider data, demographics, and applicable information in the database.
  • Assist with assigned projects as needed.
