- Collaborate with scientists, clinical personnel, software developers, and data managers to develop a deep understanding of Archer’s platform and key product development questions
- Contribute scientific expertise and formulate broad and focused product development questions associated with cancer genomics
- Address scientific questions using computational biology approaches including scripting, statistical analysis, data visualization
- Conduct analyses in a reproducible manner that is compliant with regulatory standards
- Interpret and communicate findings to biologists and others via reports and presentations
- Recognize process improvement needs and collaborate with other personnel to address them
- 2+ years of professional experience in a biotech company or exceptional academic performance
- Expertise in genomics, high-throughput sequence datasets, and molecular biology
- Solid quantitative skills including statistical model fitting and hypothesis testing
- Competent in relevant computational techniques (R and/or Python, Linux, bioinformatic tools)
- The ability to effectively communicate complex scientific ideas to non-experts
- Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
- Highly motivated and ability to work independently
- Experience with oncology research (Desired)
- Experience working with medical devices, diagnostics, and/or oncology assays (Desired)
- Ph.D. degree with a major in a relevant scientific or engineering field
