What we do:
Through our proprietary automated sales and marketing platform, Mastermind, we empower dealers to close more deals by predicting future buyers and consistently marketing to them. In short, we help automotive dealerships generate success in their loyalty, service, and conquest portfolios through a combination of turnkey predictive analytics, proactive marketing, and dedicated consultative services.
The Commission Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the calculation of commissions for the commercial team and providing input into the design and evaluation of bonus plans.
Job responsibilities will include:
Commission Plan Calculations:

  • Calculate monthly, quarterly, and annual bonuses for all commercial bonus plans
  • Summarize and submit commission calculations for review
  • Oversight of Salesforce fields sales and retention data impacting commission calculations
  • Administer of commission calculation tool
  • Review of achievement under commission plans with commercial teams
  • Collaboration with Commercial team on managing deals and resolving commission related issues


Plan Design and Review:

  • Report on commission achievement to employees and executives
  • Partner with cross functional teams including sales operations, finance, and commercial teams to ensure accuracy of calculation
  • Recommend changes to commission plans in annual compensation redesign
  • Evaluation and recommendations of commission treatment for special initiatives
  • Drafting commission agreements for employees and tracking signatures
  • Perform analysis of achievement under commission plans


Forecasting and Recording:

  • Forecasting commission calculations
  • Accruing commission/bonus expense monthly


Process Improvement and Special Projects:

  • Reviewing and reconciling information and data received from Salesforce and work with Sales Operations Team to correct underlying data
  • Ad hoc projects, as needed


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
  • 3 years professional experience in Commissions Analyst or Finance role
  • Experience using commission calculation tool preferred
  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Proficient in Excel
