Job Summary

Cloud Services Data Science Analyst

The Cloud Services Data Science analyst role is responsible for analyzing large amounts of data to identify patterns and creating recommendations to improve the performance of our digital revenue engine.  The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience organizing and interpreting customer engagement data and relating these findings back to the business stakeholders to act.  This is the perfect opportunity for the successful candidate to join a transformational organization guiding our digital revenue engine performance.

 

  • Measure the effectiveness of customer journeys, demonstrate the business impact and drive recommendations for improvement
  • Complete comparative analysis between side by side experiments and other multivariate tests
  • Identify friction points and common trends within customer engagement strategies
  • Validate entry and exit points within customer journeys and recommend improvements to increase effectiveness
  • Complete ad-hoc analysis and present results in a clear, relatable manner
  • Define processes to collect, clean and validate structured and unstructured data used for statistical analysis
  • Present insights to business stakeholders using data visualization tools

 

 

Job Requirements

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills in order to manage complex budgets
  • Excellent organization and project management skills
  • Applied experience with R and/or Python languages
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of B2B lead funnel and strategies to optimize conversions

 

  • Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics or related
  • Previous experience in business analytics or data science including data processing, database programming and data analytics
  • Proven ability to design and build pattern recognition and predictive models
  • Digital marketing and sales experience is preferred

 

Education

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
